MR1107 SHARPS CIVIL WAR SADDLE RING CARBINE

Wood is in very good condition with just a few mars and dings. Sharp cartouche. 6-groove rifling with a bright shiny bore. Original sights. Barrel retains 85-90% blue. Receiver is clean and sharp with mostly a plum/brown patina and good traces of case colors in protected areas. Has original Maynard Tape primer having been converted to a breech loader. Correct saddle ring on a sharp little gun.

MR442 MODEL 1874 SHARPS SPORTING RIFLE

Caliber 40. Orig full oct 30" bbl, Beaches front and orig factory rear sights, bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Orig wood stocks have a few minor usage marks but generally near exc with most orig varnish remaining, double set triggers, shotgun style buttplate as well as the 'Bridgeport, CT Old Reliable' bbl markings. Gun is guaranteed all orig with 75-80% toning bbl blue, receiver retains 20-25% case colors turning somewhat dark in areas. All orig throughout; complete with Factory Letter indicating the gun was shipped to the New York address of 'E.S. Harris'. Nice gun!

MR1220 SHARPS MID RANGE NUMBER ONE RIFLE

Caliber 40. Features a 30 inch octagon tapered barrel with a Bridgeport address. Gun is in absolutely superb condition. This gun is new to the market as I purchased it from a family who owned it for many years. It has beautiful deluxe checkered wood with all the varnish and a shotgun style buttplate. Mint bore. Correct sights include a rear folding tang sight which has the serial number on it. Correct flip up rear sight and adjustable globe spirit level front sight. Barrel has about 98% bright blue. Receiver has virtually all of the case colors but are thinning somewhat and turning a silver color. Quite strong in the protected areas. I feel the gun has been used very well. It would be hard to improve on this one. Great Sharps that has not been on the market before.

MR411 SHARPS MODEL 1853 SPORTING RIFLE

46 Caliber. 11,XXX serial number range. 26 inch octagon barrel. Only approximately 1,100 1853 sporting rifles were made in this configuration. Overall gun is in exc cond with a considerable amount of orig blue remaining on the barrel starting to turn a plummish brown coloration. Receiver has turned mostly dark but still has traces of case colors remaining. Exc bore. Original sights. Original wood has a few minor dings but retains most of its original varnish. Complete with iron patchbox, a pewter forend cap and double set triggers. All matching numbers. Exc and all orig throughout.

MR410 SHARPS MODEL 1853 SLANT BREECH SPORTING RIFLE

25,XXX serial number range. 26 full oct bbl, orig sights, VG bore. Orig wood is in generally VG cond with a very small repair to the toe which is hardly noticeable and a brass patchbox. Overall metal is a plum brown patina coloration with exc markings, mechanically exc. Clean gun which is basically a plum brown patina coloration overall. All orig, good looking gun.

Original 26 inch full octagon heavyweight barrel. VG bore. Good markings. Original wood is in VG condition with brass patchbox. Correct double set triggers. Original sights. Bbl retains most the blue which has turned a plum color patina. Receiver has traces of case colors. Clean little gun and all original.

MR1134 EXTREMELY RARE SHARPS 1869 SPORTING RIFLE

One of only about 50 that were manufactured. This gun has the " Old Reliable" marked bbl. Bridgeport Conn. bbl address. 28" round bbl with VG bore. Flip up Sharps rear sight and correct front sight. Wood is in VG cond with just a few light blemishes. Some oil soaking on the forearm. The receiver retains just traces of case color which is mostly turning a silvery color. Bbl has 60-70% orig blue starting to thin somewhat. Nice clean gun complete with functioning double set triggers. Very rare gun!

MR420 SHARPS MODEL 1853 SPORTING RIFLE

Caliber 36 Percussion. 26 inch full octagon barrel is mostly a plum/brown coloration. Original sights. VG bore. Original wood shows a fair amount of use but is still sound and solid with a brass patchbox and buttplate. 8,400 serial number range. Good markings. Mechanically VG with a fair amount of pitting on the receiver and lockplate. All original.

MR1095 SHARPS 1863 SRC

54 bore. 22" bbl, post front sight, folding ladder rear sight and carbine butt. Metal is a dull gray overall. Wood is good overall with one small crack on the right side. "M.R.C.P." has been scratched into both sides of the stock and a coat of finish has been applied. Correct saddle ring and bar is present. Nice clean above average Sharps 1863!

MR1102 SHARPS BORCHARDT CUSTOM TARGET RIFLE

Cal 40-50 Sharps Straight. 26" bbl, Winchester style Swiss buttplate and hard rubber grip cap. The bbl wears the correct Bridgeport address along with "Old Reliable" marking and "W.R.A. Co.". Sights include a globe front sight, an interesting 3-leaf folding rear sight and folding tang sight. Bbl retains most original blue. Bore is exceptional. Bright and shiny. Frame is a dulled nickel of the period finish with gutta percha side panels. Buttstock is a highly figured black walnut and in VG condition. Forearm is a very dark color and most likely is of walnut also. Whether this was customized by Winchester or a composite rifle is anyone's guess. There is no way to know the answer but it certainly turned out to be one beautiful specimen!

MR1188 VERY SCARCE SHARPS MODEL 1851 SPORTING RIFLE

Features a slant breech and is marked "Sharps patent 1848". 1600 serial range. Bbl has a Hartford address. 28" oct bbl with correct sights. Wood is in VG condition with brass style buttplate and patchbox. Forearm has a pewter end cap. Metal is VG as well with fairly sharp corners on the bbl. Lock plate and breech are mostly a grey patina color with sharp markings. Percussion Maynard tape primer rifle with the distinctive design of the hammer mounted inside the lock.
