Entirely engraved: gold gilted receiver elaborately engraved and retains nearly all the orig gold gilt; bbl is in excellent cond retaining all the orig blue; orig mother-of-pearl grips. Beautifully cased in a French Moroccan style leather case with a 'J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co.' label on inside top which also has the "First Perfect Score of 100 at 50 Yard Range, November 8, 1893" statement on it. S1027 MODEL 19 NRA SAVAGE RIFLE
Item # S1027
The model 19 was a 22 cal bolt action rifle. This has a 25" bbl , detachable mag and full length military style stock. Somewhat rare gun that was made from 1919 to 1937. This one is in relatively good condition with the metal turning a brownish blue. Bore has decent rifling but could use a good cleaning. Will most likely still have some roughness. The wood is in VG cond with normal handling marks. No losses of wood and no apparent cracks. There is a well worn thin rubber buttpad on it. Correct to the gun? Modern $ 295.
S1042 SAVAGE NRA MATCH RIFLE

There is a chip missing near the toe. Also there is no magazine.

S22F FACTORY ENGRAVED SAVAGE MODEL 95 RIFLE
Item # S22F -26-664
Beyond a shadow of a doubt the finest 95 Savage ever produced. It was made for W.S. Stratton. Stratton was the owner of the Cripple Creek mines. He sold the mines in 1900 for $10 million which was a large amount of money at the time. He ordered a half dozen of these factory engraved Savages. This was his own personal gun. I purchased it years ago from Bob Funk of Wyoming and he had personally bought it from the Estate of Stratton. The gun has good provenance having been in my personal collection for a number of years and previously in Mr. Funk's collection. The early 95 Savages were made by Marlin before Art Savage got his factory going. The engraving on this was done by one of the Ulrichs. Features a dog and a deer in a motif on one side and scroll work on the other. The gun is in excl cond with about 75% vivid case colors with some areas turning silvery. The bbl retains 98% orig bright blue. Correct sights. Excl bore. Lyman flip up rear sight and folding tang sight. Fancy deluxe checkered walnut stocks retain most orig high gloss finish and have a few mars, dings and compression marks from storage but no cracks or splits. No signs of any refinish. Rifle butt retains a fair amount of case colors turning a silver color. Gun is excl+ all orig cond throughout and undoubtedly the finest 95 to have surfaced to date. There are only about 6 factory engraved 95 Savages that will letter. There is probably about another 6 or 8 out there that do not letter. I think I have seen them all and this is definitely the finest one. Great investment! This gun has a Factory Letter accompanying it that states the gun was ordered by Stratton and shipped directly to him in 1896.
